The name SmoKYO comes from Smoke× Kyoto.
Inspired by the spirit of Japanese tea ceremony and infused with the essence of
flame, SmoKYO creates a matcha experience unlike anything before.
Drawing on Artistic Legacy
In Edo-period Japan, the master printmaker Katsushika Hokusai famously depicted scenes of tea preparation around fire, noting how flame brings out subtle aromas and warmth in the tea ritual.
Just as Hokusai explored the elemental energy of fire and water in his art, SmoKYO channels that same elemental power into flavor and aroma — smoky, warm, and deeply resonant.
