WACHA’s founding story on PR Times

In honor of “Matcha Day” on February 6, the secret story behind the development of three-color matcha tea, etc.

      · Management Information

      Dear All,

Today, February 6th, is Matcha Day! 🎉

To mark this special occasion, we have released WACHA’s founding story on PR Times. You can read it here:

In this feature, we reflect on why WACHA was established, the story behind the creation of our 3-Color Matcha, the development of Matcha Therapy, and our journey in reimagining the Japanese tea ceremony for modern lifestyles.

One of the most important lessons we have learned through our efforts is that traditional culture and contemporary needs can coexist to create new value. Our 3-Color Matcha, which blends matcha with herbal remedies, and Matcha Therapy, designed to promote mental and physical balance, aim to offer both relaxation and an opportunity to rediscover the beauty of Japanese culture.

By reaching people who may not have been familiar with matcha or the tea ceremony, WACHA hopes to serve as a bridge to connect more people with these rich traditions.

Looking ahead, we are planning to further expand into the domestic and international wellness markets. With growing interest in Japanese culture, especially in Asia, we envision hosting local events and collaborating with partner stores to promote our products. Additionally, we are committed to sustainability by incorporating organic ingredients and environmentally friendly practices into our operations.

We would be delighted if you could take a moment to read our story.

Thank you for your continued support.

      Warm regards,
      Hanayo Kato
      CEO, WACHA Inc.
